Peruvian Walnut base with a Ovangkol (Shedua) seat. Shedua is the same wood used to build guitars.  Clear finish so the wood may speak for itself.  The walnut a dark chocolate brown. As with the other benches, the photos do not capture the depth of the wavy three dimensional grain of Shedua. depending on which direction you look at the wood, the colour changes from light to really dark. Shedua seldom shows up in Calgary, let alone in 12″ wide pieces.
