A deck that failed due to rot. We worked around the existing railings and landscaping to replace it. Water from a down spout was being trapped under the deck by ground that was sloping back to the house. Combined with a lack of ventilation accelerated the rot. The ground was regraded to slope away from the house. Landscape fabric and gravel were put back and the deck rebuilt.
